How We Drive Change

How We Drive Change

Malkia Africa Network empowers women by combining knowledge, action, and advocacy to break systemic barriers.

Capacity Building

Through leadership fellowships, workshops, bootcamps, retreats, and academies we strengthen women’s skills, confidence, and agency. This equips them to take on leadership roles, assert their rights, and create ripple effects of empowerment within their communities.

Awareness Creation

We use campaigns, storytelling, and policy briefs to raise public consciousness about women’s rights and highlight opportunities for their advancement. This intervention ensures that issues of women’s empowerment are visible, relatable, and understood by both policymakers and communities.

Advocacy

We engage directly with policymakers, opinion leaders, and communities to influence systemic change. Our advocacy pushes for legal reforms, the dismantling of discriminatory norms, and the expansion of women’s access to opportunities such as property and markets.

Research & Knowledge Development

We conduct in-depth studies, gather evidence, and map barriers affecting women’s rights. This research guides our interventions, provides proof for advocacy efforts, and builds an evidence base that informs policy, practice, and cultural transformation.
