Field Lab Function
HER Voice is a digital evidence instrument. Its access patterns, usage data and reach show who can connect, from where, on what devices and with what skill. Across Sub Saharan Africa the mobile internet gender gap exceeds 36%. This is rights data, not marketing data, and it exposes the digital exclusion our research agenda exists to address.
Policy Arm Function
HER Voice carries our research to policymakers, reform networks, academics and the public. It distributes policy briefs, convenes experts and links the Philosopher Queens. It is the digital engine of our policy influence work.
Dual use significance
HER Voice is both an evidence instrument and a policy platform by design. It gathers field evidence and drives influence at the same time, on the same infrastructure. That is efficient, distinctive and compelling to donors.
